HOW MUCH ARE HAIR EXTENSIONS?
Prices are per strand and vary depending on length. Depending on length and thickness of your own hair and what result you’re after depends on how many strands you’ll need. There are 4 lengths… 30cm $10 each, 40cm $11 each, 50cm $12 each and 60cm, very long, are $14 each. The most popular length is the 40cm length.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF MY HAIR EXTENSIONS?
Included in the price of your extensions is a cut and blow-dry before and after, we also give you a blow-dry voucher valid for 2 weeks so we can get you back into the salon and see how much you’re loving your new hair and all your extension checks are free.
HOW MUCH IS IT FOR AN EXTENSION CONSULTATION?
Free!! You will need to come in for a consultation because it's just too hard to quote a price without seeing your hair.
HOW DOES THE PAYMENT PLAN WORK?
For hair extensions a half deposit is required up front and you can pay the balance off over 4 months. It’s a direct debit we set up. You need a bsb, account number and drivers licence. There is a small fee on your balance to cover costs of the payment plan.
HOW LONG DO HAIR EXTENSIONS LAST?
Every-one is different because some people’s hair grows faster than others and people with finer hair should replace their extensions more often so we like to say 3 to 6 months if you look after them.
HOW SOON CAN I HAVE MY HAIR EXTENSIONS DONE?
We keep some colours and lengths in stock but normally it takes 2 working days to get your hair in. We get very busy in the salon so if you are after a particular time please give us at least a weeks notice so we can accommodate you.
HOW DO YOU ATTACH THE HAIR EXTENSIONS TO THE HAIR?
They are pre bonded strands with a keratin bond already attached to the hair extension. It’s a nice firm bond so you don’t lose individual strands of hair like some other brands and there are no continual costs to move the bonds up or reapply ones that have slipped out. In fact we GUARANTEE you won’t loose any extensions in the first 3 months and if you do please bring it in and we will replace it with a new one free of charge!
WHERE DOES THE HAIR COME FROM?
We use a company called Great Lengths. They use Indian Remy hair of the best quality and always virgin state so it has never been coloured or bleached unlike European or Asian hair. Remy hair means all the cuticles sit the same way so it never gets knotty or tangled on the ends.
HOW DO REMOVE HAIR EXTENSIONS?
Great Lengths provide us with a removal solution that breaks down the keratin bond and they easily slide off the hair. It is $80 an hour for removal, or $40 if you are getting another set with us. Removal should take no longer than an hour.
DO HAIR EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY HAIR?
NO! As long as you look after them. If you DO NOT look after your Great Lengths extensions you can get knots and removing your extensions is still easy but the knot left in your own hair can be difficult to remove so we recommend you make the most of your FREE hair extension check-ups and watch our instruction DVD a few times so you know exactly what to do. Maintenance is easy.
WHAT IS A NANOKERATIN TREATMENT?
Nanokeratin treatments are an in salon treatment. It takes around an hour and includes a blow-dry, so you walk out of the salon all styled. It’s a pure protein treatment putting the keratin back into your hair that colouring, straightening and other chemical services has taken out.
HOW MUCH IS A NANOKERATIN TREATMENT?
$99 to $119 depending on the length and thickness of your hair and that includes your blow-dry.
HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT LAST IN MY HAIR?
The treatment is permanent until you start doing things that will damage your hair again like colouring, straightening etc. It’s the only treatment that doesn’t wash down the drain like moisture treatments can.
CAN YOU NANO HAIR EXTENSIONS?
Yes you can
WHEN CAN I COLOUR MY HAIR IF I’M HAVING A NANOKERATIN TREATMENT?
You can colour your hair before the treatment on the same day, as long as the condition of your hair permits us to do so, or have a treatment first then colour 10days later. If you colour before the 10days you will ruin the effects of the Nanokeratin.
CAN I COLOUR MY HAIR FROM BLACK TO BLONDE TODAY?
Every hair situation is different so we like you to come into the salon for a free colour consultation so we can have a good look at existing colour, maybe do a couple of test strands on your hair to see what colour we can achieve and also the condition of your hair and then we can take it from there.
HOW DOES THE PAYMENT PLAN FOR HAIR SERVICES WORK?
It’s a direct debit we set up. You need a bsb, account number and drivers licence. When you come into the salon for your next appointment we will set up your payment schedule. Payments can start from as little as $10 week.
SO CAN I COME IN THIS WEEK AND PAY LATER?
NO, your account can never be in debit. You must set up the payment plan first and then when you have credit make an appointment.
HOW MUCH SHOULD I PAY?
Payments can be as little as $10 week however if you have a regrowth tint, cut, blow-dry and style which comes to approximately $130 and visit the salon every 6 weeks we would recommend payments of $21 so by the time u book in again your account is in credit so you don’t have to pay.
